The ReCyP:HER initiative, funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union, is dedicated to strengthening cybersecurity education and capacity building in Pakistan. Central to our mission is the goal of enhancing the employability of computer science students by equipping them with the skills and knowledge demanded by today’s cybersecurity landscape.
Our vision is to create an interdisciplinary community that bridges academia, industry, and society to address the human factor in cybersecurity. This includes revising university curricula to meet international standards, fostering collaboration between universities and enterprises, and raising public awareness of cybersecurity’s critical role in our digital world.
To support this mission, we have developed a range of project outputs designed to benefit educators, researchers, and professionals working in cybersecurity. These resources focus on practical applications to help students and stakeholders succeed in their endeavors. Below, you’ll find a table organizing these outputs by topic, showcasing their uses and providing downloadable zip folders for your convenience.
To access the password-protected zip folders, please contact us at recypher.eu@protonmail.com. We invite you to use these resources to contribute to a stronger, more employable cybersecurity workforce in Pakistan.
Work Package 1:
WP1: Kick-Off and National Report
A proper Kick-Off Event lays the foundation for effective collaboration between partners, secures the attention of relevant stakeholders, and serves as the first step toward fruitful dissemination. To ensure its success:
Preparation: Equip yourself and your partners with a solid understanding of the information gathered during the Kick-Off Meeting for the CBHE Project (WP1.1).
Stakeholder Engagement: Organize a well-structured Kick-Off Event, ensuring the invitation of all relevant stakeholders (WP1.2).
Additionally, self-assessment is a vital step in laying the groundwork for subsequent phases of the project. Begin by conducting a comprehensive self-assessment on your project topic from the very start. This proactive approach will help establish a clear direction and identify areas of improvement, ensuring the project’s success. (WP1.3)

WP2 Strategic Action Planning
Creating sustainable impact requires a clear vision, a long-term strategy, and a holistic approach to improve employability through university-industry cooperation and interdisciplinary work in cybersecurity. Studying best practices in programme countries helps benchmark strategies and inform curriculum revision. In order to achieve this the following steps are recommended:
- Learn from successful university-industry cooperation models, interdisciplinary practices as well as cybersecurity curricula in Europe (WP2.1)
- Develop a strategic action plan based on benchmarking. (WP2.2)

WP4 Development of human factors in cybersecurity courses
Human factors are critical in cybersecurity, highlighting the need for a new curriculum in cyberpsychology and targeted training. Addressing the lack of graduate awareness in managing human-related errors can enhance employability. In order to achieve these we recommend you the following steps:
- Prepare the local psychologists for an follow-up intensive short-course by training them on the foundational aspects of cybersecurity and psychological phenomena in this context. (WP4.1)
- Execute the intensive-course, equipping psychologists at partner universities with the expertise needed to enable them to design a Human Factors Course.
- Collaboratively design concrete course materials on human factors in cybersecurity, focusing on elective courses for computer science students.
- Implement the courses at partner universities and extend consulting support to non-partner institutions to ensure wider, long-term impact.

WP5 Establishing of Cybersecurity Awareness Center
Establishing cybersecurity awareness centers at each partner university is essential for creating immersive learning environments. These centers will provide didactic support to teachers and trainers, guiding students in the responsible and safe use of technologies. Additionally, they will serve as showcases for diverse interactive formats, engaging different societal groups in cybersecurity education. To achieve this objective, the following steps are recommended:
- Requirement Analysis: A thorough analysis of the needs and resources required for implementing cybersecurity awareness centers at each partner university. (WP5.1)
- Integrate the theoretical and practical concepts developed in WP3, WP4, and WP6 into viable, working technical solutions tailored to each university’s specific context. (WP5.2)
- Building Identity and Presence: Develop a strong identity for the cybersecurity centers and establish their public presence to increase awareness and engagement across the broader community. (WP5.3)
